Protecting the health and safety of our member breweries, staff, volunteers and attendees is our top priority. Given the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, Beer Under Glass has been postponed until further notice. We urge you to stay safe and continue supporting your local breweries during this time of uncertainty, and we look forward to raising a glass of Illinois beer with you soon.
Beer Under Glass at Garfield Park Conservatory marks the official start of Illinois Craft Beer Week. This one-of-a-kind event pairs local craft beer with one of the city’s most exceptional venues for a festival that celebrates the unique connection between nature and craft beer.
Beer Under Glass invites guests to sample craft beer from more than 100 Illinois and out-of-state breweries while enjoying exclusive, after-hours access to the Conservatory's indoor collections and outdoor gardens. Food and beverages from some of Chicago's best local restaurants and food trucks is available for purchase (cash + credit) throughout the Conservatory.
Hosted by the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild and Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance (GPCA), Beer Under Glass is a festival with a purpose. Proceeds from the event support GPCA's mission to change lives through the power of nature and connect people to plants, and the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild's mission to support the development and expansion of the craft beer industry in Illinois through education, advocacy, and promotion.
